Leviticus 3:6-8

⁶ If his peace gift to the Lord is from the flock, male or female, he will give one that is perfect. ⁷ If he gives a lamb, then he will give it to the Lord. ⁸ He will lay his hand on the head of his gift, and kill it in front of the meeting tent. Aaron’s sons will put its blood around on the altar.
